Discover the beauty of Switzerland with excursions to the picturesque destinations of Grindelwald and Interlaken, two of the country’s most enchanting locations. Your trip will be partially guided, meaning each day tour will have a different professional guide and group, allowing you to meet new people throughout your journey. All tours are operated separately, so guides and participants will change daily.

1. 01 Day 1

   Upon arriving at Zurich International Airport ( ZRH ) , meet your driver in the arrival hall for a transfer to your hotel in Zurich. After checking in (available from 14:00), you’ll have free time to explore nearby attractions at your leisure. Please note that early check-in is subject to availability upon arrival.

2. 02 Day 2

   Combine the fascinating city of Zurich with its beautiful surroundings on our extended afternoon sightseeing tour! Let your guide show you the highlights and cross pristine Lake Zurich by ferry. Take the cable car to the Felsenegg viewpoint for a stunning view of the city, the lake, and the snow-capped Alps. After breakfast, walk to the nearby meeting point for your group tour. It’s just a short distance from your hotel. The meeting point is at Zurich Sihlquai Bus Station near Zurich's main train station (Zurich HB). Departure time: 13:00 Leave the hustle and bustle of the city behind and continue with a scenic drive along the Gold Coast to Meilen. Cross the smooth waters of Lake Zurich by ferry before reaching Adliswil for the final highlight of the tour: Board the only aerial cable car in the canton of Zurich for an unforgettable ride up to the Felsenegg viewpoint! Immerse yourself in one of the most popular recreational zones in the greater Zurich area and delight in incredible views over the city, the lake and the snow-capped Alps. Breath in the fresh air of the tranquil forest before heading back to the Sihlquai Bus Station.

3. 03 Day 3

   Rigi - Queen of the Mountains (from Zurich)

   Go where the Swiss go and visit majestic Mt Rigi using various means of transport! Take an aerial cable car, Europe's first ever mountain railway and a scenic cruise on Lake Lucerne. Relish an amazing view over 13 lakes and a magnificent alpine panorama and visit the charming Old Town of Lucerne. After breakfast, walk to the nearby meeting point for your group tour. It’s just a short distance from your hotel. The meeting point is at Zurich Sihlquai Bus Station near Zurich's main train station (Zurich HB). Departure time: 09:00 A variety of well-prepared hiking trails invites for a walk and cosy mountain restaurants offer a decent selection of typical Swiss meals, all accompanied by an amazing alpine panorama. Take in a moment of silence at the Rigi Kulm mountain chapel before you descend to Vitznau by cogwheel train. Board a public boat for a lovely one-hour boat trip on picturesque Lake Lucerne and lean back in front of an incomparable natural scenery. Dock at the Lucerne pier and stroll through the medieval streets of the charming Old Town. See the famous Chapel Bridge, the baroque Jesuit Church and the impressive Culture and Convention Centre (KKL) by star architect Jean Nouvel. Continue along the lakeside promenade with its grand Belle Epoque hotels and visit the famous Lion Monument for a souvenir photo. Have a snack or drink or buy some souvenirs before you meet your tour guide for the coach journey back to Zurich in the evening.

4. 04 Day 4

   Grindelwald, Interlaken & Lauterbrunnen

   Explore one of Switzerland’s most stunning alpine destinations, the Jungfrau Region in the heart of the Bernese Oberland. Travel through amazing mountain views to the famous village of Grindelwald, surrounded by high mountains and nature. Then continue to the beautiful valley of Lauterbrunnen, known for its waterfalls. After breakfast, walk to the nearby meeting point for your group tour. It’s just a short distance from your hotel. The meeting point is at Zurich Sihlquai Bus Station near Zurich's main train station (Zurich HB). Departure time: 08:00 From Interlaken, drive to the charming mountain village of Grindelwald. Set in the heart of the Alps, this charming destination is known for its wooden chalets and a dramatic mountain scenery. Enjoy breathtaking views in every direction, especially of the iconic peaks Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. You will have approximately 3.5 hours of free time to discover the area at your own pace and enjoy optional activities of your choice. For a real highlight, take the cable car up to Mount First. Feel the thrill on the famous First Cliff Walk by Tissot, a suspended walkway high above the valley, or slow down and enjoy a relaxing break at the mountaintop restaurant with panoramic alpine views. You can also stroll to the “First View” platform for even more panoramic scenery. If you’re looking for more adventure, explore the Glacier Canyon, where powerful glacier waters have carved striking rock formations over thousands of years. Alternatively, take a nostalgic ride up to Mount Pfingstegg, offering stunning views and fun alpine activities in a relaxed setting. These activities are optional and available at an additional cost. Later, continue by coach to Lauterbrunnen, famous for its 72 waterfalls and once inspiration for writers such as Goethe and J.R.R. Tolkien. Enjoy free time to explore the charming village, stroll its picturesque streets, and admire Staubbach Falls, Switzerland’s third-highest waterfall and a true landmark of the valley. Full of mountain-fresh air and fond alpine memories, meet your tour guide for the return journey in the afternoon.

   Enjoy a full day at leisure in Zurich. Explore the city at your own pace, relax, or join optional activities. You may stroll through the charming Old Town, shop along Bahnhofstrasse, visit local cafés, or enjoy a boat cruise on Lake Zurich. This day is free for personal exploration and optional excursions (not included).

6. 06 Day 6

   Rhine Falls & Stein am Rhein

   Discover the Rhine Falls, Europe’s biggest waterfall, and visit the medieval town of Stein am Rhein on an afternoon coach excursion from Zurich! Travel along the Grand Tour of Switzerland to the medieval Laufen Castle by the falls and marvel at exceptional frescoes in the well-preserved Old Town of Stein am Rhein. After breakfast, walk to the nearby meeting point for your group tour. It’s just a short distance from your hotel. The meeting point is at Zurich Sihlquai Bus Station near Zurich's main train station (Zurich HB). Departure time: 13:15 Delight in unique views from the panoramic lift and see how an average of 700,000 litres of water per second plunge across a width of 150 meters into the basin below. The Belvedere panoramic trail brings you to a viewing platform right above the falls where you feel the spindrift of the rumbling waters. Top off your visit with an optional boat ride (summer only) to get as close to the falls as possible – a truly memorable experience! Continue past Schaffhausen with its imposing Munot Fortress and through beautiful countryside to the medieval village of Stein am Rhein.
