1. 01 Day 1

   SUNDAY: Arrival Amman

   Your tour manager will meet and assist you upon your arrival at Amman International Airport. After that, you will be transferred to your hotel in Amman by a private air-conditioned vehicle for check-in.

2. 02 Day 2

   MONDAY: AMMAN – AJLUN – JERASH – AMMAN

   Amman

   Breakfast and departure to visit Ajlun Castle, a fortress built in 1185 and later rebuilt in the 13th century by the Mamluks after its destruction by the Mongols. It is a Crusader-era castle located on top of the mountain, offering a beautiful view. Continue to visit Jerash, one of the cities of the Decapolis. ­ Jerash is located north of Amman, approximately 45 km and an hour's drive away. During the excursion, we will visit the Arch of Triumph, the Oval Plaza, the Cardo, the colonnade, the Temple of Aphrodite, and finally, the Roman Theater, renowned for its excellent acoustics. ­ The preservation of the ruins of Jerash still impresses today, giving an accurate idea of what cities were like during that time. After the visit, return to Amman. ­ Then Dinner and overnight

3. 03 Day 3

   TUESDAY: AMMAN - PANORAMIC CITY TOUR – BETHANY - MADABA – MT. NEBO-PETRA

   After Breakfast meet at the hotel and departure for a panoramic tour of the city of Amman. At the indicated time, departure towards the border with Israel and Palestine, looking for the Jordan River. This day we will dedicate to visiting one of the most mystical and spiritual places in Jordan. We will visit Bethany, the place where Jesus was baptized by Saint John the Evangelist. The Jordanian enclave of Bethany was opened to visitors in 2000, and Pope John Paul II attended its inauguration as a sign of his recognition by the Vatican. Baptismal Site of Jesus "Bethany beyond the Jordan" (Al-Maghtas) The archaeological site located on the eastern bank of the Jordan River, about 9 km north of the Dead Sea, is of immense importance to Christianity because it is recognized as the place where Jesus of Nazareth was baptized by John the Baptist. Continue to Madaba to visit the Orthodox Church of St. George, where the first mosaic map of Palestine is located. Continue to Mount Nebo to admire the panoramic view of the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea from the mountain. This place is important because it was the last place visited by Moses and from where the prophet saw the promised land, which he would never reach. Transfer to Petra. Then Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.

4. 04 Day 4

   WEDNESDAY: LITTLE PETRA – PETRA – AQABA

   Breakfast and departure to the nearby town of Al BEIDA, also known as LITTLE PETRA. Visit this caravanserai. Then, a full day dedicated to visiting the Rose City, the capital of the Nabataeans. During the visit, we will see the most important and representative monuments carved into the rock by the Nabataeans. We begin with the Treasury, a famous and internationally known monument featured in one of the Indiana Jones movies, the Colored Tombs, the Royal Tombs, and the Monastery. Petra is one of those places in the world that must be visited at least once in a lifetime. In the afternoon, departure to the coastal city of Aqaba on the Red Sea. ­ Then Dinner and overnight.

5. 05 Day 5

   THURSDAY: AQABA – WADI RUM

   Aqaba

   Breakfast. Free time to enjoy the city of Aqaba. Stroll through the market, enjoy a morning at the beach, etc. Included in the program is a relaxing morning at the MOVENPICK CITY beach, at the Berenice Club or similar, where you can use the facilities, including the pool, sea, showers, and towels, and enjoy lunch (drinks not included). ­ In the early afternoon, depart for Wadi Rum, one of the most important nature reserves in the Middle East. We are in the desert of Lawrence of Arabia. The visit lasts two hours and takes place in a unique setting. If 4x4 vehicles are required, they will be at your own expense. The vehicles are driven by Bedouins, with a maximum of six people per car, and include a short exploration of the desert’s lunar-like landscape. During the ride, we will observe the wonders created by nature and erosion with the rocks and sand. This location is also famous in cinema, with films such as Lawrence of Arabia and, more recently, The Martian. After the visit, continue to the Bedouin camp, where you will spend the night under the stars (standard tents in the camp included). If you wish to stay in capsule tents, inquire about the supplement. ­ Then Dinner and overnight.

   FRIDAY: WADI RUM – UMM AR RASAS – DEAD SEA

   Breakfast. Departure to visit Um Al Rasas, a Jordanian archaeological site containing ruins from the Roman, Byzantine and early Muslim civilizations. ­ It is located 30 km southeast of Madaba, which is the capital of the Madaba Governorate in central Jordan. After the visit, transfer to the Dead Sea. ­ Then Dinner and overnight

   SATURDAY DEAD SEA – FREE AT LEISURE
