2. 02 Day 2

   Start your exploration with a visit to Baixa, Lisbon’s downtown district, where you’ll find Praça do Comércio, the grand square by the river, and Rua Augusta, a bustling pedestrian street filled with shops and cafés. Drive up to the historic Alfama District, Lisbon’s oldest neighborhood, where you can wander through narrow streets, enjoy a traditional Fado music performance, and explore the iconic São Jorge Castle for panoramic views of the city. Be sure to visit the Lisbon Cathedral and the Miradouro de Santa Luzia, a viewpoint offering stunning views of the city’s rooftops and the Tagus River. In the afternoon, head to Belém to see the famous Belém Tower and Jerónimos Monastery, both UNESCO World Heritage sites. Don’t forget to try the legendary pastéis de nata (custard tarts) at Pastéis de Belém—a Lisbon institution.    After breakfast, meet your driver for a smooth transfer to the airport. We recommend scheduling your hotel pick-up at least 4 hours before your flight departure to allow ample time for check-in.
