Duration: 9h 30mins Start time 09:30 ­ This tour will give you an opportunity to see Belgium’s most charming medieval cities in one day, both cities have been declared World Heritage by UNESCO. ­ In Ghent, you will discover St Bavo’s Cathedral, the City Hall, the typical Belfry and St Nicholas’ Church as well as the medieval harbor where students, tourists and locals gather. We will show you the mighty fortress which was the former residence of the Counts of Flanders. ­ After lunch in Bruges, we will start with a photo stop on the banks of the romantic Minnewater and visit the picturesque Beguinage. Your guide will explain the history of the city from the Viking Age to its downfall at the end of the Middle Ages.
