ANNAPURNA BASECAMP TREKKING The Annapurna Base Camp lies at a height of 4,230 meters and is where mountaineers start their summit of Annapurna I, the 10th highest peak in the world at 8,091 meters. The ABC trail crosses a variety of terrain ranging from glacier and rice terraces to rocky stone steps and, along the way, offers an amphitheater of huge Himalayan peaks. The trek takes you through the villages of the ethnic communities and their fascinating culture. This region is the roots of the Gurkhas. It is especially beautiful during spring as rhododendron flowers along the trail turn red, pink and white. RELAXATION IN POKHARA Pokhara is a naturally gifted city with full of lakes, waterfalls and gorges, and of course spectacular views of the Himalayas including Annapurna and Machapuchare (worldwide known as Fish Tail Mountain). This is the perfect place to recharge your batteries. There’s a fascinating museum dedicated to the world-famous Gurkha soldier. This city is the gateway to the world-famous treks in and around the Annapurna range and beyond. There are also many adventure sports available in the city. BASIC YOGA & MEDITATION PRACTICE Yoga and meditation is the way of uniting our body, mind and soul. We practice basic yoga and meditation together. During the trekking, we practice pranayama yoga which is the formal practice of controlling our breath. Nepal is the best place to enjoy spiritual tourism with lots of options left for you to choose from. Yoga is an ancient but perfect science that deals with the evolution of humanity.
