Hobbiton Tour From Auckland: Hobbiton Movie Set Tour

After breakfast, Meet your guide at the hotel lobby for the hotel pickup process. Pickup Time: Between 6:00 to 6:45 am “The exact Pickup time will be confirmed prior to the tour” Note: You could ask the reception the night before to prepare a breakfast box for you to collect before the early departure. Your journey begins with an early morning pickup from Auckland followed by a scenic two-hour drive south to the Waikato region. Upon arrival at Hobbiton, you will have time to visit the official gift shop and enjoy refreshments at the Shire’s Rest Café before beginning your guided experience. Hop aboard the Hobbiton shuttle bus and begin a 2–2.5 hour guided tour through the enchanting Hobbit Village. Explore famous locations including Hobbit Holes, The Mill, and the Double Arched Bridge, while learning behind-the-scenes stories from the films. The experience ends with a complimentary drink at the legendary Green Dragon Inn before returning to Auckland through the scenic Waikato countryside.
